Trainers’ Guild

The Trainers’ Guild is a CPD Endorsed recognition programme that identifies and acknowledges instructors and training professionals who demonstrate exceptional skills and uphold strong professional values. It enhances the professional credibility of its members and offers them global networking opportunities with industry experts.

Trainers and instructors who are dedicated to delivering top-notch training services, whether working independently or within an organisation, can join the Trainers’ Guild.

There is no registration fee for joining Trainers’ Guild. You just have to pay recognition fee for your chosen level of membership.

Following are the benefits of joining the Trainers’ Guild:

A trainer must hold at least a level 3 training/coaching qualification. Each recognition level has different qualifying criteria. Please refer to the Trainers’ Guild Framework for more details.

A reflective account is a structured piece of writing where you critically examine your experiences, actions, and learning. For the Trainers’ Guild application, this means providing a 1,000 to 1,500-word account that demonstrates how you apply the skills and professional values outlined in the Trainers’ Guild framework.

Your reflective account should go beyond simply describing your experience—it should show how you analyse your practice, evaluate your effectiveness, and demonstrate your ongoing commitment to professional growth and high-quality training delivery.

Your referee can be:

  • Employers, supervisors, or managers who have observed your training work.
  • Mentors or senior colleagues who can vouch for your skills.
  • Trainees or clients who have benefitted from your training sessions.

No, the Trainers’ Guild does not offer training resources. Instead, it provides professional recognition services that validate trainers’ expertise and commitment to continuous professional development.

The standard application review process takes 5-7 working days. However, delays may occur due to incomplete information, referee verification issues, or high application volumes. If your application takes longer than expected, please check your email for updates or contact CPD Endorsed.

Upon successful approval of your membership, you will be issued a personalised digital badge that reflects your recognised status (Associate, Fellow, or Senior Fellow Trainer). This badge will be sent to you via email, and will also be available in the Register of Members.

You are encouraged to display your digital badge on:

  • Your email signature
  • LinkedIn profile
  • Personal website or training portfolio
  • CV and proposal documents

Some membership benefits are transferable on a referral basis, while others are exclusive to the member. Please see the list below of transferable benefits for reference:

  • Discounts on accredited courses from the School of Academics, the School of Leadership and Management and the Brittania Training Centre (via referral).
  • Event invitations for professional networking (where guest access is allowed).
  • Referral-based incentives such as bonus resources or special offers.

Once submitted, applications cannot be edited directly. However, if you need to update any information, such as correcting errors or updating details (e.g., contact information or availability slots), contact CPD Endorsed. Updates may be permitted depending on the nature of the request.

The standard annual renewal fees for Trainers' Guild recognition levels are the same as the initial application fees. A 10% discount is available if you renew before your membership expiry date. This fee covers administrative costs and extends your membership for an additional 12 months.
